Courtyard spaces make up more than 5’000m2 of the 1970s megastructure of EPFL Campus. We propose to re-invest these as a student centre constellation which could vary according to season and need, with three scales of intervention — maintain, (un)furnish, (un)cover — and three instruments for doing so: A manual that maps the spaces, timelines, guidelines, key actors, and facilities across campus. A set of tools which enable moments of doing and undoing. An inventory of elements to be deployed, demounted and reused.
