Through cartography and encounters the map gathers and explores the tight links between the Ferme de Bassenges and the campus of EPFL and UNIL. The current agricultural collective creates interactions by taking care of the land and the people. Different axes existing and projected are shown durability, socio-economic and pedagogy-research-innovation. The continuity of green spaces and participative agroecology practiced by the farmers are key for ecosystems to develop and subsist in an always developing build environment. Learning by doing and connecting with others through taking care of the non-human are necessary to create a real sense of community and understand what surrounds us. The system put in place by the farmer collective can extend and enter even more deeply in relation to the campus ones. The farmers, in the way they work today, are crucial for a future innovative resilient campus.
