In a climate and housing emergency, sustainable habitats must balance comfort and resource efficiency, with a proposed minimum of 30m² per person. Shared common areas can maintain quality of life, fostering collective and cooperative living that promotes solidarity and community belonging. The course explores various scales of cohabitation, from individual dwellings with shared spaces to larger collective areas, like multipurpose rooms and urban gardens, enhancing social interaction and community life. Opening some collective spaces to the public can create connections with the neighborhood's social structure.
