REHAB Montétan
Welcome to the Centre de Montétan
Dear residents, neighbours, and visitors,
The former Children’s Hospital of Montétan begins a new chapter today. Rather than disappearing, the building has been transformed into a place dedicated to rehabilitation, repair, and personal reconstruction.
The Centre de Montétan welcomes 40 residents engaged in a rehabilitation process. The project is organised around the historic core of the building, where spaces for living, care, workshops, and shared activities come together within a common environment.
The Collective Kitchen & Café-Restaurant (Monday to Saturday, 11:30 AM - 2:00 PM)
A place for gathering and sharing through cooking, seasonal products, and everyday life. The café-restaurant welcomes residents, visitors, and neighbours in an open and informal atmosphere.
The Workshops & Exhibition Spaces
Spaces dedicated to the repair, transformation, and revalorisation of objects, from bicycles and ceramics to manual and artistic practices.
A Place for Gradual Encounters
The project encourages measured forms of interaction between residents, visitors, and the neighbourhood. Through shared spaces, gardens, workshops, and everyday activities, the building becomes a place where connections can slowly be rebuilt over time.
Your presence contributes to giving new life to this place and to rebuilding a relationship between the centre and its surroundings.
We look forward to welcoming you,
REHAB Montétan,
