This collective housing for 100 people is more than a structure; it is a vibrant community rooted in shared values, resources, and experiences. At its heart lies a transformed central core—traditionally dark and mechanically ventilated— now revitalized as a courtyard, the hub of communal life. This core anchors the building, linking its residents and supporting a fluid, adaptable design.

The communal kitchen, centered around the core, fosters visual and sensory connections, while the circulation space integrates seamlessly, adding depth and complexity. Balancing community and individuality, each unit features a double- sided, movable partition. This innovative element allows tenants to curate their space, sharing personal objects with the community or closing off for privacy. The flexibility empowers residents to redefine their boundaries, whilst also creating a personal exhibition, a reflection of each tenant’s life. Each tenants has the opportunity to sharer part of their personal space, as well as a fragment of their life with the community, offering a harmonious blend of autonomy and collective living. Of course, the choice is always up to the tenant.
