The project explores the hidden potential of the Milan metro's public infrastructure, with the Lotto station (line M5) as a pilot site. Noticing the monotonous and impersonal design of Milan's new M4 and M5 lines, the project proposes a radical transformation of the underground spaces into platforms connected to the city. Through straightforward interventions, such as piercing the slabs, we open up the station to the outside world, creating spaces with a new strong identity.
