This project focuses on the undefined and ambiguous urban spaces created by the intersection of roads, public transportation, historical urban fabric, large-scale construction projects and water infrastructure. It consists of a toolkit to transform these ‘urban leftovers’ into temperate places for leisure and play — in-between a garden and a playground. Simple repeating design elements shape a fragmented public space that serves to unite the city.
