The Arve River, canalized during the industrialization of the PAV, reclaims its riverbed. The water deliberately errodes the soil along a pedestrian path, turning it into an anti-domesticated landscape. The intervention considers the project perimeter as a case study, proposing a resilient strategy to address the risk of flooding, offering a testing ground for adaptive urban ecologies.
The secluded commercial building located on site, is complemented by a terrace and visible openings on the groundfloor, with the intention to change the users relation to the river. The consolidation of commercial spaces and the integration of a textile intervention, allow open, flexible layouts, fostering synergies and adaptability.
