Transformation of a commercial building by perforating its prefabricated concrete slabs. While the masterplan proposes the demolition of the entire structure to create a park for the projected neighboorhood, the intervention allows the current users to remain on site, while integrating the park into the building. Currently vacant surfaces are turned into continuous voids, aligned with the angles of sunlight during the solstices, leading to a public roof garden. Suspended nets create blurred, adaptable spaces, while the lightweight ETFE façade separates private areas from public zones. Adaptive modules, connected to the existing water system, enable various temporary uses.
