Racheal's House
Clémentine Rita Rigo
Racheal is a determined businesswoman who has been completely disoriented by the discovery of her own nature. She is a replicant, a sort of clone often referred to as an android devoid of any emotions, while truly being made of flesh and blood. Her memories being from someone else, she feels lost, no longer knowing who she really is or where she belongs. Yet she remains convinced of one thing: her own humanity. So she tries to distinguish her real emotions from her programmed reactions. Rachael may be deeply saddened by her lack of identity, but she retains a strong will to live and will not submit. So, even though her presence on earth is illegal, she flees to Lausanne, where she hopes to lead her life as a fugitive. She needs a refuge, a place where she can rebuild herself. For her, it is partly a question of understanding what makes her human or not. She will therefore conduct research about her kind, not only for herself, but also for her fellow replicants, whom she will occasionally welcome and try to help.
