RTS’s new campus, excessively large at 27’000m², contradicts
its public service mandate. Built with concrete, steel, and glass, it represents a misallocation of public funds, prioritizing expansion and image over societal benefit. The project exceeds the necessary 17,000m². The surplus space, money, and energy must be serving community interests. In addition, RTS’s monopoly on public media stifles diversity and democratic discourse. Our practice reclaims accountability and helps in negociating space for truely public use.
