Ballet Urban Legends reinvests the imaginary and historical past of this amphitheatre site as a new space for dialogue and exchange through the rhythm of dance. The Park becomes an extended and porous space, points of view intersecting. The paroxysm of this park is its centrality, bringing together movement and displacement, and welcoming the plurality of bodies and stories of the district’s inhabitants. This scene mixes the ecosystems present on site, welcoming those who want to learn, those who want to stroll, or simply be a spectator. It’s a laboratory, for free creation and an understanding of bodily movements, a laboratory for reinvesting the park in a different way. The aim of the project is to create links : through performance, dance seeks to bring together, spectators, dancers, and quite simply, users of the site. So, beyond simply offering performances, it aims to link people together in a place that is central to the life of the district, and where everyone can discover or benefit from this practice.
