Noailles is stuck in a escalating care and maintenance crisis, its urban fabric neglected by all stakeholders.
Most attempts to address the situation have focused on fixing issues rather than proactive care. Legally siphoning this misused public funding, the project weaves together a janitorial network. Thought at every scale, from maintenance tools in each building to neighborhood kiosks assisting inhabitants, from mopping the floor to the commonization of building blocks, 'Communal Care' stitches threads toward self-management.
