This project argues that the current understanding of what constitutes heritage must be challenged. It reflects on what is worthy to protect and proposes a legal shift from heritage as encompassing only static physical materialities to including the entire ecosystems, from soil to the atmosphere to human local collective structures and site specific qualities. A "Stewardship Association" of local actors is created to undertake the care labor and constant transformation of an ever-shifting heritage, at the service of all living forms.
