Phäenomena: Log In

The project proposes a dynamic and continuous architectural pathway using the buildings as educational space to guide visitors in a fl uid manner. The buildings emerge from the ground to graft themselves onto this path and house the exhibitions. The architectural expression creates a tension between the buildings, giving the impression that they could merge into one. Each exit provides a view of the next entrance, making the visitor curious to see the next exhibition. Through variations in height and width, the buildings create a spatial immersion that invites visitors to discover the exhibition spaces.
The volumes spread out in order to make visitors aware of the scale of the site and create a rhythmic and contemplative journey between interior and exterior. This serpentine play on the entire site is articulated in such a way as to create appropriable exterior spaces dedicated to activities that invite interaction and exchange.
The use of a log structure provides a natural multi-sensory experience. This material creates a paradigm shift: innovating with wood in its most raw state. The reciprocal structure amazes visitors and invites them to question the role of each element as a whole.
