re-MOVE: From a Demolition Economy to a Subtraction Ecology

Maria Beatrice Fenoglio

/

Vanesa Giuliana Santillan Messina

An endless cycle of demolition and construction has to come to represent high-quality living standards and spaces. This economy encreasingly generates environmental and social issues. The project argues this need not be and embraces motion as an alternative: a shift of vision by moving elements. Physical and immaterials barriers and walls define interiors, the city, and society - to be moved and removed. With interventions at different scales, flexible living spaces can create new habitable realities.
