24.11.2017 ALICE organised for the 3rd time the architecture internship for the Journée Gymnasiens 2017 at the EPFL. The given problem was the analysis and construction of a spatial condition: the curvature of the platform of the Parthenon. The students calculated and revealed the greek geometry in drawing and model. The model shows the curvature of the platform in exaggerated scale, the plan (x/y) is 1:6, the heights (z) are 1:1. Construction at Salle Polyvalente, exhibition at Foyer SG.
23.11.2018 The 4th time that ALICE organized the architecture internship for the Journée Gymnasiens 2018 at the EPFL. As conclusion of a series we returned to the Doric column of the Parthenon. The future students were asked to analyse and construct half of the column drum by means of a structural element which allows its sequential construction as a collective work. The model was built in 3/4 scale, laid out horizontally as some of the columns on the Acropolis. The very subtle entasis was built with a 4-times exaggeration. Drawing and construction at Salle Polyvalente, exhibition at Foyer SG.
