The adopted research process lead to the development of a reflection about the relationship and the differences between the high-rise buildings which are located on the periphery of the superblock and the low-rise buildings which are in the center. For this purpose, we tried to create a new typology of buildings that can be in the middle of these two. The reflection then brought us to create, not only a building but also a network of streets that link different areas of the site.

The project is located in the center of the superblock where we can find the typical low-rise buildings from Gangnam. The location is at the intersection of three different kinds of areas. These areas are respectively a market, a parc, and an education center. We can also see that the ground floor is dedicated to activity and the upper part of the buildings are residential spaces. It’s from this postulate that will be organized the different platforms and strolls, in order to keep some privacy for the residential spaces.
